Ab Circle Review
The Ab Circle promises to help you “lose your love handles.” It also promises to help tone your buns and thighs…but then again so does every other ab machine on the market. Let’s take a closer look at Ab Circle.
Sponsored by Jennifer Nicole Lee
The Ab Circle is sponsored by Jennifer Nicole Lee ( the very attractive woman in all their advertisments). Who is she? We had no idea either. Turns out she was an overweight woman who lost over 70 pounds to become the supermodel she is today. Inspiring? Sure, but just because she sponsors Ab Circle doesn’t necessarily mean it is a must-buy. Keep in mind that Ab Circle is paying her to endorse their product so it might not be as sincere as you would think.
Does the Ab Circle work?
The Ab Circle is a unique apparatus. With your knees and hands supporting your body weight, the Ab Circle enables you to make a gliding motion that contracts your stomach and will give you a decent cardio workout. Sounds great, but there a few potential problems.
First, doing the exercises requires a great deal of coordination. If you don’t consider yourself a coordinated person, Ab Circle is probably not for you.
The Ab Circle is not designed for moderately/extremely obese people. It will not support people who weigh over 275 pounds. It also will probably be harder for obese people to complete the exercises considering they have to support themselves with their hands and knees.
If you are thinking about purchasing the Ab Circle, make sure you are driven. The Ab Circle exercises can get very monotonous. Unless you have strong self motivation, regularly completing the exercises will be difficult
Beware of the Ab Circle 30 Day Trial
The 30 day trial for Ab Circle sounds great…until you read the fine print. Like most “trials” on the market, there is a catch. You are required to pay $14.95 for the trial and $34.50 for shipping and handling. If you aren’t satisfied with the Ab Circle, you must return it within 30 days of the original shipment date or your credit card will be charged over $200 over 5 payments. There are three huge red flags that this trial raises:
- You must return the product with 30 days of the original shipment date. Shipping takes 10 days. This leaves you with 10 days to try the product if you want to get your money back. This is hardly enough time to make a sound evaluation.
- You are responsible to pay shipping and handling if you are not satisfied with the product. Assuming shipping the product back costs another $34.50, you will be out almost a total of $100 just for trying it.
- These kinds of trials show a lack of confidence of the manufacturers in their product. It is almost like they are trying to manipulate you into buying their product.
How much is the Ab Circle?
The Ab Circle is $200 plus $34.50 shipping and handling. This is one of the more expensive ab machines on the market.
Is the Ab Circle worth purchasing?
Expensive price+Limited Warranty+Average Product=Probably not worth purchasing.
